I had a wonderful stay at a guesthouse in Pingyao called Jiaxin. the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They provided me with valuable information and even let me borrow their hair dryer. the room was clean and comfortable, with a cool Chinese style. I especially appreciated the pick-up service and shuttle back to the train station. They went out of their way to make my stay more enjoyable. the guesthouse also offered tours, bike rentals, and laundry service, all at a very affordable price. it was a great experience.
